SDF Denmark-Wisconsin Sustainability Fellowship Program

 

About the Program

Established at the University of Wisconsin–Madison in Fall 2010, thanks to the generosity of Inger and Jens Bruun, this program aims to:

  • Strengthen Danish American relations
  • Raise awareness about sustainability

Who Can Apply?

If you’re a student with a sustainability-focused major or certificate, this program is for you! Apply for study abroad scholarships and participate in our UW program.

What to Expect

  • Global Networking: Connect with like-minded students from Denmark and the US who share your passion for sustainable development. Build friendships and professional relationships that will last a lifetime.
  • Pre-Semester Study Tour: Before the semester starts, incoming Danish and returning UW students will join a week-long study tour exploring cultural and environmental sustainability in Wisconsin.
  • Midterm and End-of-Term Events: Stay connected with your cohort through a few sponsored events throughout the semester.

UW–Madison students in other programs in Demark (DIS, the International Internship Program, and independent research programs) are also eligible, as are Danish students coming to UW–Madison via the Visiting International Student Program.
